Cost of installing sprinklers?

What is the rough cost of installing a sprinkler system in a three-story single family townhouse? Rooms include three bathrooms, three bedrooms, one living/family room, one office, one kitchen. What should we expect to budget? This will be included as part of an eventual gut reno but I wanted to get an idea of that piece.

an engineer will have to calculate the exact # of heads,but if done to code,they usually have a 7ft. working radius.Cost per head for installation only,should be $300-350. Watch out,as this installation will probably require a new water main,at another 10-15k.
Hope this helps even though it is on the rough side.
