I've dealt with one broker extensively, have found him to be quite good, honest, knowledgeable, professional. I'm sure there are sleazes, as they are everywhere. Just make sure you find the right one.

I'm currently working with an agent from the TDG, and she's been great so far. Though I must say, some of the others I've met earlier were not as genuine or honest as my current agent, you just have to find one that you can trust.

TDG lists a lot of the new condos in WB where I've been looking to buy and I've had pretty negative experiences with them on couple different occasions. one time the particular female seller's agent that was showing me a unit made a lot of untrue, unethical statements in an attempt to sell a less desirable unit to me which basically left a very bad impression. another bad experience was when I came to one of their advertised open houses on a sunday (210 S. 1st Street)(trekked all the way from the far west village) and there was no one there to gain entry into the building or to show the apartment! i called the TDG office and the receptionist said someone SHOULD be there and that I should look around and beyond that wouldn't really help. well I did look around and found nobody so I went home and basically wasted a sunday afternoon. that's very unprofessional in my opinion!!

I dealt with an agent to look at condos in williamsburg and she was nothing but a big waste of time.
