Just applied for an apartment at 360 w 55th st Apt 2-O. Mikki at Siba Mgmt approved the application in about 24 hours time, then let me know there would be a FOUR month security deposit totaling $13,580, an amount she would not budge on. This is a clearly a prohibitive deposit. Few people have that kind of cash, and those who do certainly wouldn't want it tied up in a deposit. Starting to think this was a scam to secure the "application processing fee." Anyone had similar experience with her? with Siba mgmt?

Siba is ALWAYS 2month min security deposit. how is your credit and do you make 40x the rent?
