Discussion about 1485 Fifth Avenue #16C
From the floor plan I've seen it looks like one of the bedrooms is inaccessible.
There are two LARGER 3 beds in the same building both for a lot less.
Perhaps, but do those have crown moldings?
I am sure you are being sarcastic as every unit has identical finishes. You just won't get $5800 for a Harlem 3/3 not on central park. EAPECIALLY when you can rent a 20% larger unit in the same building for 17% less money!
Great views, nice building, not the best location (5th but extremely high up), and it's small. And how do you get into the second bedroom?
This one is even better - its on the 23rd floor and has a private terrace. And is bigger than the one in TOP and costs $800 a month less. So again, TOP is a bit silly.

Jason, I think the crown and panel moldings are unique to the OP's apt. Click on the various pics of the various apts in the building. Moldings look nice, IMO.
Now does $5-10K of molding on a $1M+ apt justify a ppsf that is 28%+ higher than the rest of the building? Perhaps you do not appreciate the value molding brings to a home, it does take a certain level of refinement. Fine. But if you click through the OP's listing onto the Stribling page, you'll note that this apt is located on the Upper East Side rather than in Harlem like the rest of the building.
Location, location, location.
