Under-reported his charitable gifts to stay above his 13% tax boast; if the a-hole had nothing to hide, why didn't he release more? The whole political system is a shambles & certainly rigged in favor of the Haves but I feel that Romney would be a complete disaster for this teetering nation. We'll see; anything could happen.

What he's hiding -- from what I'm hearing from sources close to his finances -- is that he paid ZERO taxes in 2008/2009 -- claiming massive investment losses from the mortgage/financial meltdown.

Good for him.

However, the "other 47" also took massive losses (and unlike Mitt, didn't have hundreds of millions still left over in the bank), many losing their entire life savings -- not to mention all of the equity in their homes. And yet, they still had to pay THEIR taxes.

THAT is what Mitt is hiding.

Maybe we should cut Truth some slack. This must have been a tough year for her. Her boyfriend dumped her (no more summers in the Hamptons), her main client, Levon (who was bankrupt, so he wasn't paying her anything), unfortunately passed away, and she looked at her financial future and was lucky enough to cash out on her Manhattan apartment, but made a major life style change and moved to Bay Ridge. (and let's not talk about menopause).

She's definitely had a bad year (though that might not be enough to forget that she has become her own "bully gang" on SE

Alan - i was trying to cut her some slack (though I realize with her multiple spewing postings that can be difficult). You guys had been trolling her in the past, (yes you had), but this year she has gone totally off the rails, and I think some of it might have been the life changes she has been going through

While I was enjoying a fun Emmy viewing party (aboutready called it "mythical" because she would never be invited to such a party) ph41 joined them.

ph41 posted my address during one of her drunken nights on vacation. Nothing can excuse what she did and when inonada reminded her of her poor form, she then posted a comment asking him:"When did you become such a POS?".
Now ph41 is trying to divert attention away from her drunken behavior on se, by writing "comments" about my life, cut from the snobbish cloth of her decaying fabric.

My boyfriend joined me for several weeks in Italy and Barcelona. I've been out in the Hamptons with him many days and nights since I returned to NY. I also have many friends with homes in the Hamptons, so I won't be without a place to stay there.

I sold my Manhattan apt long before Levon passed away. He was my dear friend and I would never charge him for working with him. It was my pleasure.
I have more than sufficient savings and investments. My money is all mine to do whatever I want with.
My financial security has afforded me the opportunity for an early retirement.
My "major lifestyle change" involves swapping my apt in Brooklyn for a beautiful house in Tuscany and another in Barcelona.
My Italian friend loves Bay Ridge and she chose the apt there. It's very nice and we like the neighborhood.
