Discussion about
For me, nothing is better than my washer dryer. It took me a long time to have an apartment with a washer dryer and I doubt I will ever stop enjoying having this appliance in my home. My Nespresso cappuccino maker is a very distant second place.

Yes, having a washer dryer in the apt is a major improvement over treking to the laundry room or even worse having to go to the laundromat. I'm divided over the dishwasher and the coffee pot, which provides me the life-force for dealing with whatever gets thrown at me during the day.

O.K., just as long as it's not the coffee pot that gets thrown at you.

I agree that the washer/dryer HAS to be the favorite appliance in my apartment. Yes, i like my keurig coffee maker, and my dishwasher, and my great big fridge, but i LOVE my immersible blender.

For me, no question it's my bidet - especially when set to turbocharge.

The freshness it leaves me with must be experienced to believe.

It's like having a professional dental cleaning & rinse - only at the opposite end.

I stand behind (as well as sit down on) my Enematic KrakKlenz 3000!

I love, love, love my washer dryer... but if I could only pick one, take the fridge in a second. What good are clean clothes if you have no beer?

vitamix blender
A very expensive but the last "blender" you'll ever buy.

I dont think a TV counts as an appliance but if it does, my Samsung 3d plasma google TV. The last TV to make such an impact was the Sony Wega Trinitron.

You realize that dishwashers are like catnip for cockroaches, right? The standing water and bits of food are like giant dinner bell for them.

My favorite appliances, in order of use:

-- Sunbeam "Hot Shot" water boiler (brings up to two cups of water to a boil within 90 seconds -- even faster than a microwave).
-- Hoover Electric Coffee Percolator
-- Sunbeam Mixmaster
-- L'Equip RPM blender
-- Presto Electric pressure cooker

Yep I love my appliances!!

LOL luckily we don't have any pests nor rodents issues on our building. this is one of the many reasons why brand new buildings rock! i remember those old pre-war typical from the UWS with the rodent issues... YIKES!
