Removing a co-owner's name from coop shares

Def need a lawyer -- presumable you hold the shares as tenants in common so you'll need a transfer of property. If you have a mortgage you should also check your mortgage docs..

1) If you have a friend on the Board, they can hook you up with the right people/process.

2)If you don't have a friend on the Board, make one - then go to Step 1.

swonger- We were adding a co-owner, and the building's lawer was involved because it was like a mini-closing. And $100.
