Discussion about 115 Central Park West #19EF
What good is a floor plan with no dimensions?
I wonder if she was as greedy when her marriage ended.
wtf does greedy have to do with this? or her divorce for that matter.
susan is the self-appointed arbiter of interior tastes.
By greedy, I meant that 50m looks excessive for this. 25 million is the record for the building (2006 sale of this apartment and 2010 sale of Conan O'Brien's duplex) and that range is the usual value for the best co-ops on CPW (like William Ackman's purchase at the Beresford a few years ago). Maybe a 35 million ask could make sense. Is the extra 15 million the furniture? If it was worth that much, she should auction it
I think that this is delusional like 944 Fifth Avenue -- the notion that 30 million is now 50 million
I agree 50 is ambitious and she definitely overpaid in 2006. I give her kudos for forging ahead with her career despite the fact that she got dinged being Soros' wife, where people claimed she didn't need to work. I know she worked for awhile for his 'Open Society' foundation but admitted to NY Times that it was unrewarding. What I always wondered was why she divorced him?
Susan is in her late 50s and Soros is in his early 80s, so I think she had become too old for him. After their split, he dated several younger women. Now he is engaged to marry a 40-year-old.
40? I thought she was 29....
It's been relisted, with asking dropped to $39,000,000. Good guess, Fairway.
Who would even WANT those hideous furnishings? Bo Concept meets DWR. Blech. Just goes to show money can't buy good taste.
Also, the maintenance has magically dropped by $2k/month
