Discussion about
Hi all I searched the prior discussions, but most are >3y old now Anyone have good recommendations for Caeserstone, Silestone countertop resellers that have v. good pricing/reliable around NYC who can install in Manhattan? Also considering jet mist granite ... Kitchen size is 9' x 4.5' x 5' Thanks!
Also - anyone have experience with poured concrete countertops - I imagine this is cheaper than engineered surfaces but maybe install is $$? thanks
Try Sterl Kitchen in North Bergen, NJ. Got my Caeserstone countertop there. They also sell Silestone and other brands. Nice selection and good prices.
I got my Caesarstone countertops from SMC Stone. They have a showroom on Delancey and fabricate themselves out in Brooklyn. Good pricing and install. Ask for Ken: smcstoneken3@gmail.com
When I priced it out five years ago, e-counters.com was cheapest for Silestone, so I went with them.
I was very happy with the process, but I knew exactly what I wanted (including having my kitchen sink and its template on-hand when they came to measure and create their templates) and required no hand-holding.
The site now redirects to http://www.countertopvalet.com/index.cfm?redirect ... I know nothing about them, but I'd definitely check in with them. The whole business is all subbed out left and right anyway, especially the fabrication part.
I second the recommendation for SMC Stone, we use them all the time.
There are a ton of places down in Flushing area that can install within a week. They carry the same brand as other retailers.
hofo - any you would recommend?
I used a place called Johnstore Corp, 133-06 King Road, right off College Point Blvd. But you should go down there on a sat or sun and take a look around College Point Blvd. Keep in mind prices are negotiable.
great recommendations
