Discussion about
Is there any way to find out how much this apartment sold for? http://streeteasy.com/nyc/property/1115885-330-west-72-street-11c The ACRIS form does not include the price and it seems like the buyer avoided the mortgage tax (it was only $40). How is this possible, considering that there was a financing statement filed by the bank?

The closing hasn't been recorded on ACRIS yet.

What you see on ACRIS is the UCC1 form for the buyer's share loan. Those are often filed by the lender a while before closing.

There's no mortgage tax on co-op share loans, so the city doesn't record their amounts.
