Discussion about
I am currently in the market to purchase an apartment. We are seriously considering buying an apartment that requires a gut renovation. It's becoming clear that we will get the most space for our dollar. That said, we know it's a daunting task, and since we've never done this before we have no clue where to start. Do we need an Interior Designer, Contractor, Architect?! Recos, thoughts?

You can probably hire one of the three and have them work with the/ sign up the others as needed.

I can reccomend Francois Tenenbaum at Design by Francois, LLC

Good luck.

Giovilla,

You will need an architect at the very least to do a survey, draw up plans and get approvals. You can either use the architect for design or hire an interior designer. Most importantly you need a contractor, i say this because thats where I come in.

I will be more then willing to discuss with you all of your options
