Sale at 1185 Park Avenue #12L

I've always wanted to read Anne Roiphe's memoir about growing up in 1185 Park.

Beautiful coop. But how this apt only have 2 bathrooms and such high monthlys ?

Lots of staff. There's a guy at the main entrance on Park and in each of the six lobbies. Compare with http://streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/761449-coop-1192-park-avenue-carnegie-hill-new-york across the street.

It's a very impressive looking building if you pass by the entrance on Park. Usually I see two staff there ready to help the residents.

What are the community recreation facilities mentioned in the apartment description besides the gym?

One of our most favorite buildings in New York City, we have been doing various renovation work there.

1192 is a great value bldg for park ave on carn hill--large scale, well-run coop--slightly smaller room sizes than the better candela bldgs
