Discussion about 944 Fifth Avenue in Lenox Hill
The 11th floor unit here just sold for $50 million, its asking price, to the ex-owner of the LA Dodgers. I thought it was way overpriced. Wow.

Fairway, were you in the $30s range for it?

Yes. That is what I think comps (like Bruce Wasserstein and William Zeckendorf's apartment at 927 Fifth, Huguette Clark's 12th floor unit at 907 Fifth Ave, etc) would suggest. The 10th floor at 944 Fifth sold for $26 million a few years ago. Of course no one thought the Dodgers were worth more than $2 billion either.
