Discussion about
have someone worked with TD bank for mortgage? any recommendations?
Doing a refi with them now. Applied online. They seem fairly efficient as things go. Couldn't get anywhere close to their pricing anywhere else.
thanks, they have great rates, i might go with them as well
I went to TD Bank. I'm self-employed;i.g., own 100% of C-type corporation. The rep. at the bank told me "my W2 gross income + my company's gross income (not net income)" will be used as my income when they calculate DTI. I still cannot believe it and asked him to double check with the mortgage officer. If it is true, I definitely use TB Bank.
Yes I used them this fall. Great experience. I would recommend them for sure. They were able to finance my condo when it did not meet Fannie Mae guidelines and I was denied by PNC.
I've used them before and they are great. Everything except closing was done on the phone. They are very efficient.
We got our coop mortgage with TD 3 years ago, when it was still the worst of the credit crisis. They were outstanding. Our finances were somewhat unconventional and yet TD was really consultative, practical and always candid. Excellent experience all around (rates, communications, service, product features). Can't recommend them highly enough.
