Discussion about 117 East 57th Street #25E
1,135,000 for a studio???? Doesn't it look like a studio with a wall up (well done, of course). Manhattan real estate is just getting crazier and crazier.
Crazy Retardo65!
Riccardo is right, crazy price for a large studio, small one bedroom. I guess the Manhattan market is "White Hot".
I am not sure if people are being factitious here...but I'll respond as though their critiques regarading the pricing of this unit are genuine.
It might be necessary for us to remind ourselves that the pricing is set based not only on the unit's squarefootage but also on other important factors, such as the neighborhood and the building's general stature. The Galleria is a VERY nice bldg. near 57th x Park, fetching over $2k PF. And the pricing for this high-floor 700 SF unit in the $1.1M range actually seems quite reasonable for that bldg.
And don't forget a very generous monthly net of $1,700, on top of your mortgage. Rush to put in an offer now or it will jump to $2 million next week.
Must be a whole foods nearby.
29E is scary

strange that 29 is being advertised as a 765 sq ft 1 bdr, while 25E is 712 sq ft, may be converting into a 1 bdr adds sq ft.
no, it's the mirrors
The E-line is a decent size for a one-bedroom: 13x21 LR and 10x12 BR.
25E is odd in that the layout's been changed. They gained about 3' of closet by moving the BR door to open into the LR rather than into the bath vestibule.
Great building , but that price seems expensive
