Must be a typo on maintenance & taxes, right?

They wish. Besides the Payment in Lieue of Taxes, the condo pays ground rent to the Battery Park City Authority, which isn't any more forbearing than a private landowner would be. There was some kind of 25-year Appraisal Date within the last few years.
