This apartment has dropped from $2.2M in 2008 to $1.25M now (Jan 2013). This is crazy. Does anyone know the cause? 50% down. Seems very high. What does it mean?

Other E line apartments sold within the past year in the lower price range:

05/03/2012 #6E $1,150,000
02/16/2012 #5E $1,200,000

Apt. 8E sold in 1/2011, I don't see the closing price, but list price was $1.35m. It looks like 7E's owner finally got a reality check.
