Discussion about
We are selling our Manhattan co-op, and I want to leave it clean for the new owners. Does anyone know a service that will come in after the movers leave, and clean the kitchen(appliances and polish cabinets), bathrooms, floors (not windows)? How much should I expect to pay for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment?
You are certainly going above and beyond what is required. Generally, "broom cleaned" is the standard. But good for you; I'm sure the new owners will appreciate it. My cleaning lady charges $100 for my 2BR/2BA but she comes on a recurring basis. For a one-off, I'd expect $200.
Does she bring all her own cleaning equipment? The movers will have all of our equipment packed and on the truck. The cleaner will need the chemicals, rags, vacuum, mop and maybe a ladder to reach the high spots.
No. I supply everything.

This sounds like much more than a weekly cleaning lady thing.
This sounds more like a "deep clean".
I'd expect to pay at least $500.
Little Elves - they bring everything.
@Matt: LOL. Upon re-read it does sound tawdry.
little elves will charge you $1K and pay the illegals $200.
