City assessment- appeal

I got my assessment for a 3 family investment property in Brooklyn. I believe it is too high. i do not wish to spend more than $400 to appeal it. Since you have to provide comps etc, is there a companty that does it? I noticed that there are national companies to appeal assessments on L.I or other parts of NYS for a nominal fee and % of the recovery for the first year,but nothing for NYC. Any suggestions?

There're lots of law firms that'll appeal for you, for a percentage of the savings, but a small building might not offer enough revenue for them.

You might want to try doing it yourself.
