Can you be a little more specific? Thanks.

$4k and up one beds has always been my rule of thumb. Of course there are still plenty of run down "luxury" doorman buildings (145 4th ave etc.) that meet this threshold but many wouldn't consider them "luxury" without a roof deck, gym, etc. etc. I mean, is a building that has nasty green carpeted hallways and cookie cutter white box one bedroom with parquet floors and cheap appliances considered "luxury" even if the rents are above $4k for a one bed?

I always thought "luxury" in NYC meant the bathtub is actually in the bathroom, not the kitchen.

The apartments in that building are enormous. You left that part out.
