Discussion about 17 West 64th Street in Lincoln Square
Are the floors of this building concrete or is the structure wooden between ceiling and floor below? What details about the pros and cons of living in this building would residents be willing to share?

It's a 10-story building from 1923, classified as "fireproof" by the city. That means no wooden joists.
It predates the use of concrete-slab construction in that kind of building, but you can't tell how thick the concrete part of the floor structure is between/over the steel framing members.
thank you. Are you able to hear footsteps and noise from apt above? Any other pros/cons you would share?
I've never been in it. There's no way to tell about noise, unless you can get into above/below apartments at the same time, to test.
