Sealing cracks and holes in the apartment

We have been having mice problems on and off. The exterminator said there could be holes behind the stove and the dishwasher. He said we should remove them to check for holes and cracks. Our apartment building won't allow the handyman to remove the dishwasher and stove for us I guess for liability issues. I would like to know where I can find someone to check for holes and openings in the apartment and seal them?
