Discussion about 20 Pine Street #1019
I have noticed that this has been "sold" on 11/27/2012 for $10! After that the apartment has been listed for sale again (in contract again now). Probably it has been transferred to a family member, but how is possible that the Board didn't exercise the right of first refusal? Can this really be done to avoid the transfer tax and without any risk?
Now this went from "In contract" to "No longer available" on SE.
From "Contract signed" to "Sold and closed on the listing broker's website.
Any broker here can give me an idea of what happened (I would like to hear from a buyer's broker), I am loooking to buy at 20 Pine and I was following this listing.
Thank you
I know your pain. It is a very attractive apartment. It is a true one bedroom facing east, which is precious in this building. Too bad it is no longer available.
The tax form is marked "Other unusual factors affecting sale price."
NYC/NYS were satisfied that the actual price was $0, so collected only the filing fee.
