2 loan applications

Discussion about
can i do 2 loan applications at once? a loan application is not an approval, so i can have 2 mortgage brokers applying for a loan on the same apartment? when the commitments come in, i would than decide which one to take. and if one gets denied and one gets approved, this will give me a safety net. what do you think?

I did exactly the same thing and think this is a very good idea, especially if your closing date is not exact. you will hedge your bets this way.

I think its a good idea. Most banks are collecting fees for application however. Are you worried about rates or commitment? sunny_hong@countrywide.com
