Discussion about 400 Central Park West #15L
LOL regardless of sq ft, why on earth would anybody spend more than a few hundred k on a studio? it's dumb as it gets to buy such a small unit, unless they are given away imho.
Right, better not to buy something too small for you.
What's strange about this one is, the same broker said it was the correct 650 when he sold it a few years ago.
Here's a flash shorty 123: this happens frequently in Manhattan. A good, if extreme, example is #12G at 207 East 74th Street. This apartment sold two or three times in the past six years and it was listed at an accurate 720'. It didn't sell in 2011 at its lassoing asking of $612K. Now 15 months later, its new square footage is 850'. Nothing changed except a less than an honest agent at Corcoran. Yes, the previous firm was also Corcoran. Oh, by the way, it's in contract at $775K. Nothing like a limited inventory to make fools out of people should know better. The apartment's maintenance is over $2/sq. ft. and it needs a new kitchen. Me thinks buyer's remorse sets in in relatively short order here.
