Has anyone had a successful experience on a project to mitigate footfall / footstep noise? Any references for soundproofing experts / consultants who would specialize in this and come recommended? For the last year my upstairs neighbor and I have had a constant issue where I can pretty much hear every footstep in their apartment (though no higher-pitched noises) and they can hear bass from my side. We've already done everything we can with rugs and rug pads - which maybe provided a 20-30% mitigation in noise/vibration. Any advice or references to recommended soundproofing experts would be much appreciated! Thanks all - [less]
