Views are awesome but $5.5MM for essentially a one bedroom is pretty obscene regardless of the A+ location. Making a true 2 bedroom would require renovation and then what do you do about a guest bath/powder room which I would imagine is not optional for a prime 5th avenue place. Would you want visitors to have to use an en suite bathroom?

I see the place as a bit of cluster f**k. A cluster f**k with a beautiful view but a problem apt just the same. Then again, there are people with too much money who would spend $5.5MM or thereabouts for a pied a terre across from the Met.

So what, it's not for you?

I live in the hood and it's not that far off. I've thinking that something like this would be around $5M. The monthly is a little high so I'd take something off for that. My guess is around $4.75M, but in this market in that area, who knows?

It even has a wet bar!

That maintenance is impressive, haha. But, just by looking at the maintenance says it is overpriced. Not comparing apples to apples, but with a maintenance like that you can get a lower 5th ave apartment in the $3.5mm range
