awesome- never had a clean Local Law eval:

1995: Precautionary
2000: Safe with repair/maintenance
2007: Unsafe
2012: Unsafe

The scaffolding on this building has been up for almost eight years and little to no repair work has been done on the building. Recently, the tenants were notified that scaffolding would be covering the ENTIRE building (all sides, all windows) so that repair work could be completed by the end of the year but none of the scaffolding has been replaced and still no work has been started.
The tenants on the 1 and 2nd floor have been living with limited views and no light for close to a decade. One tenant even had a raccoon in their apartment who climbed the scaffolding but the owner refuses to proivde screens for windows. They're trying to drive rent controlled tenants out by covering their windows.

WHY THE FUCK DO YOU STAY?
