Discussion about
what do you think this will sell for?
$865k for a townhouse in that part of Brooklyn (this is what you're talking about, right?) looks pretty cheap. Is there a catch?
it's sunset park

It looks like it's very nicely done but I know nothing about Sunset Park.
I never thought I would see the day when anyone would seriously ask $800,000+ for a residential property in that area of Brooklyn. Sunset Park residents, please enlighten me. My recollection is that it's a crappy neighborhood. Not so anymore?
"on the border of Greenwood Heights and Sunset Park."
What's Greenwood Heights, I lived in Brooklyn for 3 decades and never heard of the neighborhood.
Most maps include it as part of Sunset Park. The Google and SE maps call it plain Greenwood.

The 444 address won't attract a lot of Asian buyers for superstitious reasons.
2 br with a rec room in basement. no pics of kitchen or baths. $600 max.

This fits right in with the Streeteasy Blog entry today about using feng shui to maximize selling potential. Writer Anjie Cho probably should have added, "Take any 4s or 9s you see on the front door and replace them with 8s."
All Asians hold identical beliefs.
