Why are so many sales that once were listed here gone? This particular apartment sold for $385,000, a fact freely available on ACRIS and formerly on view to subscribers here, with its 10.3% price drop. The reason people we pay a fee to view your information is to see exactly this information. Do you really allow the brokers to manipulate the information your paying subscribers can view? Many other sales that I could view on this property last year are now blank. Where's all the 2011 sales data?
Brokers shouldn't be able to play games with this info. This very large coop is also listed under many different addresses on streeteasy, not many of them being the same address that buyers view them under. And in fact, some of the missing data here shows up under the (spurious) address 575 Grand Street. This shouldn't be a game of peek-a-boo. I depended on Streeteasy as a purchaser, and am dismayed to see how current purchasers are getting played. I know some journalists who'd love to dig into this.
