howmuch cost to remove asbestos 85 eagle st

I liked to buy a multi family building with a 25 ft x 100 ft adjacent lot, the address is 83-85 EAGLE STREET, BROOKLYN NY 11222 the owner is asking for the package 2.3 million, but it was built in the 1930, so I hire an asbestos testing company, after a visual inspection-survey from the architect, they told me the building 85 EAGLE STREET, BROOKLYN NY 11222 have asbestos poisoning and will need to be abated, now what should I be concerned about? How much does it cost (estimate) to remove asbestos for a 5000 sqft area? Thanks, worried building buyer

Maybe you should call an asbestos abatement professional rather than talk to a bunch of brokers here who never went to college, or if they did, they studied communications at Fred Jones College of Bad Decisions.

Virtually all buildings in NY have asbestos. Asbestos is not the same as asbestos poisoning. Asbestos is not the same as evil spirits

Under the overwhelming majority of circumstances, it doesn't (practically speaking, anyway) need to be removed or abated. If you believe in bad science (i.e. mass hysteria) you can all spooked by it.

Where in the building is the asbestos, and in what form?

The idea is to raze the existing buildings and build new on the 50'x100' lot.

The firetrap that's there now has a lot more problems than asbestos, e.g.:
