Discussion about
Just how much weight does a cash offer carry in this market? There are no statistics for such things, so it's purely speculation. Is it true that every seller has their pick of multiple all-cash bids, or is an all-cash buyer still at a select advantage when bidding? Are there a particular price ranges or situations (other than the obvious advantage in dealing with a co-op board) where cash carries more clout?

greensdale - Probably less of a discount than prior to last week, as it's now going to be a heavier load to carry away.

A bird in hand... Cash is king... However you want to say it. If that's not the case, it's either a greedy seller or a feeding frenzy of buyers. Why participate in either situation?
