They should have a separate set of titles for agents, declining in status:
1. Churl
2. Peon
3. Serf
4. Citi Habitatter
5. Rental listing agent

well.

1. you spend all day, every day hanging out here.
2. does this bring you happiness?
3. if so, why?
4. if not, why do you hang out here?

Because THIS was the biggest lie the agents told.
Glad the focus is in the right place.

So, you can lie about the state of the market as long as you change your title?

Is a VP title needed in order to tell someone that their condo is worth 15% more because Eataly is nearby?

1. real estate brokerages could really drive up page views
2. and grow an additional set of high demand services
3. if they would follow the lead of attorneys
4. and designate one extremely attractive female agent in each office
5. as a "senior vice solicitor"

Alan, your 1, 2, and 3 also apply to the customers (or what the agents think of the customers), so that'll probably create some confusion.

"agents ... think"

... ??? maybe in Japan, not in the US, and certainly not in NY.

What also should be looked into and even done away with is the in house lender affiliate. Big real estate firms pressure buyers to use their lender affiliate and even intimate that the buyer won't get the deal is they don't get a pre approval from their lender. They usually take the loan through this lender and many times pay higher rates or experience other unpleasant procedures or both. And especially now this applies when the market is so hot.

Actually, if you have the title, you wouldn't know.

So, you have the title?
