So let me get this straight, yesterday, stevejhx was bitching about the attention he was getting and in the morning had the site remove the discussion topics about him, saying that the "imposter" was being shut down, or shut up and calling the person a "fag," and then tonight we get this?

Why do we need to hear so incessantly from a loud mouth ultra-dramatic lonely self-hating gay man whose real value is no more than a wacky waiving arm-flailing inflatable tube man?

Just curious.

"Why do we need to hear so incessantly from a loud mouth ultra-dramatic lonely self-hating gay man whose real value is no more than a wacky waiving arm-flailing inflatable tube man?"

Is spunky gay?

'Cause it can't be me, since I was out w/ friends M, T, & will be out 2rrow R, & have a date w/ a 25-year old.

Spunky was my impostor. Sorry you're losing money in real estate.

why would spunky be your impostor? It's not like he is afraid of saying what's on his mind.

If it wasn't spunky we'll find out, b/c whoever was doing it had their IP address blocked.

I believe Spunky decamped to Europe for a bit. Didn't he mention that?

fascinating and funny. makes all the sense in the world that it would be spunky. (makes all the sense in the world that his lapdog Juiceman would charge to his defense, too)

Did you notice that on the "Real Estate is a Bad Investment" thread, spunky had the following post yesterday:

"spunky

hey what happen to my posts they were erased--Wah wah wah"

Could this be because his IP address was blocked????

Perhaps?
Maybe?
Possibly?
Definitely?
Hmmmm...

Sad pathetic creature that spunky. For some reason I have this image of him as Gollum from Lord of the Rings, cursing stevejhx and pounding out missives under 15 different screennames in a dark, damp basement.

He did mention Europe, but then continued to post for 2 days.

It is true that almost all the impostor posts were removed, that they blocked the ability to create certain userids similar to mine, that all of those posts came from a single IP address, that that IP address was blocked, and that spunky stopped posting immediately thereafter.

Wah wah wah.

Spunky is probably in the air as we speak --- or probably in the huge queues at Terminal 5 at Heathrow!
Or maybe he's drinking white beer in Brussels, not able to resist all that tantalizing talk . . . .
We honor the dear gent in his absence . . . . .

faustus, have you ever had an original thought in your life or are you happy riding the coat tails of others? I have yet to see one original thought or opinion and you know d*ck about real estate. Besides being and angry grunt, what do you do for a living faustus?

Geez Juice, settle down! I thought you'd be flattered by the "spunky's lapdog" thing. You're not?

As to what I do for a living, I'm your therapist, Juice, and I suggest you take a few deep breaths and calm down.

Yesterday, Steve reported the discussions about him as serving no purpose, and today he comes up with this one. Why is the discussion allowed to exist if the other ones were removed?

I'm still here not and still loving and reading steves posts about how rents in Manhattan are decreasing. I have a West Village apt that I posted a few weeks back for rent and I received about 25 inquiries. About a dozen people wanted to rent the apt sight unseen.Keep in mind I bumped the rent up about 5% from last year.

What kind of apartment? in a co-op or condo or some other type of rental real estate?
What price range? and what is the demographic of your renter?
Thanks

It's a condo and rather not go into the details. Safe to say this was by far the most inquires I have ever ever received for the past 9 years since I've owned this apt. Yep the rental market is sure slowing.

yeah, spunky. let's all extrapolate from one (biased) data point. That's the way to invest!

everybody (but brokers and you) agrees rental mkt is slowing - but no - you have to go on with "rental market is strong" it's almost like saying "the economy is super!"

Al Harrington is President and CEO of Al Harrington's Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man Emporium and Warehouse. Due to a shipping error, Al is now overstocked on wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men, and he is passing the savings on to *you*!

Yep you're right what do I know. I just own a rental property that I put on the market that got about 25 responses and rented it in one day with about 6 backups. Yep you guys who have been wishing and praying for market crash in Manhattan for the past seven years know more than me about my situation.
Love to hear from all those you are actually looking to rent right now in GV, West Village and Soho.

One question - how long do your tenants stay with you? Do you sign one or two year leases? Do they renew? ... ok three questions.

But my ears are as big as Spitzer's, and you know what they say...

Anyway, while stevexyzw is busy typing here, I've made about 1000% on my $500k that I got selling an apartment 2 years too early. You can guess what I was invested in.

So how's your C stock doing? I guess at least you didn't pick BSC.

VVerain my tenants stay an average of 2 years. I sign a one year lease and depending if all is well I give option to extend another year.

Having imaginary tenants is one thing, but having imaginary leasing policies... that's Bellevue material.

I see your stock "portfolio" is down again today.
