Balloons and Easels advertising open houses!

Discussion about
A cluster of balloons around something for sale always seemed to represent a sign of desperation in the past, kind of like a clown with runny makeup at a birthday party. I observed my first balloon cluster this weekend in Brooklyn after two years of heavy house hunting. It looked kind of hilarious, but sad, like an attempt to get house hunting NY'ers to cheer up (like that is ever going to happen). Anyway, so what do people think? Is this a barometer of a change in the market? P.S. I am not Steve, I just want to know what people think.

I think there's a hell of a lot on the market. It's buyers' market, dudes.
