Heh, yeah, I noticed this a while back. Ugh.

Since when is a skylight acceptable as a window? Egress, anyone?? (and I assume they mean this to be the bedroom, what with the closet space, and not to mention that there isn't a kitchen right there). And then there's the bottom-dollar, cheapo kitchen redoing. What a gem.

Speaking of downtown Brooklyn, what do people think of this:

Exterior pics from the listing seem different from the exterior pics from the building listing. Mistake? Rear of building? And why has it sat for so long? Just grossly overpriced? Seems spacious, nicely done...

The building runs the depth of the block from Hicks to College. The apartment's at the back, looking through an overgrown hurricane-fenced yard at the cute carriage houses on College.

It's the L line at http://www.columbia.edu/cgi-bin/dlo?obj=ldpd_YR_0312_BR_001_001&size=large. Good room sizes, and a separate shower stall in the bathroom is nice to have.

Normally tile floors in living areas signal (to me) the place floods. Not sure why they would show the tile alongside the wood or wood-ish floor that is only there until the next storm. Indeed, it's on the line of zone 1 and zone 2.

Just the broker being a slob, leaving the old vinyl(?) photos up along with the new wood-like photos. Saddest touch is the little curlicue things they glued to the kitchen soffit.
