60% of building owned by sponsor, some rent stabilized. None of the major banks would provide mortgage, which would be an issue for resale.

add to that this is a 700 sq ft apartment at over $1400 psf..... on a low floor.

there's plenty of cash floating in manhattan, but not for this baby.
