Discussion about
The tenant in my condo recently complained about a MOTH problem. The HOA provides pest control service on the exterior of the condo once a month. That said , i sent an exterminator to check it out. He found an infestation of moths & eggs in the area rug (the tenant brought in) The tenant thinks that I am responsible to professionally clean all the carpet upstairs, their cloths etc. There were no moths when they moved in, & it was their rug that contained the moths. As a condo owner am I responsible to provide pest control inside the condo?

it's your job to eradicate, but not to clean, etc. let the exterminator do what they need to and the tenant take care of the rest.

had a friend whose tenant kept bringing bed bugs into the apartment. there has to be some sort of rule that if the cause is by the tenant, they should be responsible.

Give the tenant a box of moth balls from Dollar General. You can expense it.
