Discussion about
The apts seemed very spacious and price per sq ft seemed pretty good compared to the other new buildings going up there. Of course the area is pretty undeveloped right now. But does anyone know anything good or bad about this development in particular or the developers? (Yes I know it's a lousy school district - that doesn't bother me).

One of the concern we have is that there won't be too much of a view and sunlight as it is dwarfed by 10WEA, Element and the rental next to it. Also, a few blocks north there are the projects.

Already a discussion of it on Wired NY.

Thanks, but that discussion on wirednewyork seems quite old, back to 2005 during the early planning stages.
Know anything about that eyesore the "Public Bath" on that block?

Yes but did you see the more recent comments? The "public bath" is a NYC recreation center. My impression going there several years ago is that it tends to service the Amsterdam housing project next door.

No prob. IMO I really like the finishings and the high ceilings. But the location basically kills it for me. Too long a hike from the subway and the route is a little deserted. A female friend mentioned that if she lived there, she'd be afraid to walk home at night.
