Discussion about
Was curious if anyone knows if the rat problem was finally resolved in this bldg.?? I heard horror stories from friends who purchased there and were fortunately able to sell. I haven't heard anything for a few years re: the rat problem so was curious. Thx

If it's http://streeteasy.com/nyc/building/river-lofts, then the rats either drowned or were driven upstairs. The NYT map shows ~6 feet of water there: http://www.nytimes.com/newsgraphics/2012/1120-sandy/survey-of-the-flooding-in-new-york-after-the-hurricane.html

NWT: El ratons grabbed the passing flotsam and paddle-boarded up to the roof.

From what I understand the rat infestation effected every floor............even the PH where Gwyneth Paltrow lives. An interior designer friend was telling me he was decorating a unit there and the rats were inhabiting the air vents, etc......
