open houses are not permitted. What can we glean from this?

That open houses are a waste of time and don't find buyers of properly-priced apartments?

That coops don't want their buildings turned into fun fairs?

Some buildings do not permit and that doesn't really indicate much about the building itself except they don't want random public traffic on Sundays for safety and privacy. Typically those brokers will do an open house "by appointment" and just have private showings back to back and escort the buyers one at a time from lobby to the apt showing.
