Discussion about
I like the new much more streamlined StreetEasy site but is there any easy way to get to your "folders"?

i don't know about streamlined. having to scroll to infinity to see anything is not my idea of streamlining.

2002 called ... it wants its web design back. Complete with hoverless click-intensive pulldown menus (at least in Chrome browser).

And strategically, SE has lost all the value-added stuff that its homepage offered -- in other words, stickiness. [Do they still use that term?]

But I can definitely relate to almost completely giving up -- my tomatoes have been so disappointing this season, from beginning to end, that I'm thinking of getting out of the balcony-farming business.

Looks cleaner, prettier and harder to use. Did not have to scroll to see all the goodies and now you have to keep scrolling and scrolling. There are only a few Discussions shown at a time compared to before.

Not sure if it is just a learning curve...
But right now...
I can't sort listings by price/sqft or listed date or price, etc etc...

which is a HUGE SETBACK...

HUGE SETBACK is right.

It's been fun, everybody. GOOD BYE. This is my last post and I'm deleting my account to the extent possible.

No sort on search is a ridiculous loss of functionality, competitors will be happy, no one else.

Please do what Google did, give us the option of changing to new look or keep the old look. Not happy!!
Why fix something that is not broken. Website is way slower than before. Please give us the option to keep the
original setting.

3 things:
1 the Streeteasy logo renders poorly on the home page
2 why is the talk section hard to find? And now called Discussions. If they were going to change the name, Rants and Stupid Questions seems more appropriate.
3 Still no listings in C0lumbia C0unty?

My worst fears of Zillow meddling with a good thing have been realized. The new layout is terrible. It takes way too many clicks to get the same basic information that was available so much quicker before. There was a reason why SE beat out the other data sites before - easy interface. Now, this looks like Blocksy and City Realty. Poor job all around.

This new design is the Windows 8 of real estate sites.

Recorded sales is a huge pain, and the only reason I subscribed. Lost fields up front, but once you get your results you can drill down in the Search filter. I'll try and adapt and let them iterate on their design but at this point I'd rather use ACRIS for free.

Why on earth did they change? They made the website much harder to navigate. I bet the person who did the re-design never used the site beforehand. It's really horrible! I can't believe anyone is going to pay for this going forward...

They were sold to Zillow or someone & it didn't take them long to muck things up. It was inevitable . . . & SAD.

Figures, c0lumbiac0unty finds a way to criticize Harvard which has nothing to do with this site.
