Talk is cheap but money will talk... I'm not cancelling but will certainly be far less inclined to visit, ad impressions and revenue will drop and they will change it back..

Does anyone know how to contact Streeteasy?

It is only a matter of time until Zillow does with streeteasy what it does with all the sites it buys - assigns certain agents to certain territories based on a monthly fee (Zip Code purchasing). So when you do a search for a property, although the exclusive agent will show up in very tiny print at the bottom, the picture and name of someone unrelated to the listing will appear in a very prominent section. Making it appear that that agent is the exclusive agent. All because that agent has essentially purchased a zip code. I was willing to wait until that happened to cancel my pro account, but this new format just hastened my exit.

Been fun folks.

I cancelled my insider subscription also. I used to be able to get information almost as accurate as my broker does from his system. This new format gives me nothing more than what I can get for free on NY Times Real Estate. I NEVER use Zillow because it is absolute garbage. Listings are never accurate, non-existent listings are posted, etc.

At this time, I've not cancelled but I'm easily swayed. I think that if this happened during the time that I was actively looking, I'd have been really pissed.

The only thing to do here is to cancel, unfortunately. I am cancelling now. They ruined a good thing.

Just cancelled too - why bother if I don't want to visit the site.

I just canceled as well. The layout is terrible now and I don't even see any way I can use custom boundary searches anymore.

Cancelled the first day of change. Not worth over $120 per year.

i am about to ask for refund. the lack of insider functionality including excel exportation (among other aspects) amounts to fraudulent advertising.

As long as the link to the old site stays, I will hang around a bit. But once that goes... so do I.

Thanks Mets 79 for explaining the logic. I was about to resubscribe as I'm interested in buying another property - but now I will revert to the New York Times.
What a shame, Streeteasy was instrumental in my first purchase 3 years ago and I have enjoyed the discussions immensely.

Mets 79: That explains the frustration with dealing with Zillow. I was looking for a smaller apartment within my own complex, but many of the listings kept forcing me to contact brokers that I absolutely know are not used in the building.

I second Apt55:

I'm hooked on the discussions but I've been coming back grudgingly. As far as looking for properties, I'm not even sure that's possible on the new site. IF it is, I'm not willing to learn how because they had such a great site & have now effed it all up. F Zillow 'cause they've f'ed us!
