There's a new verb emerging -- to "zillow" something means to take something amazing and f**k it up royally.

Just cancelled my subscription. I suggest the rest do the same. This is becoming the same garbage as Zillow. Tons of errors also, including data on an apartment I just purchased. Listed as "in contract" for a second time when, in effect, it went to closing. No second contract.

Again, cancelling subscriptions is the way to put the message across.

Just discovered they've deleted the sales history. Just sold an apartment on 9/19. They have totally deleted all sales histories for complex, including recent closings. Same nonsense as NY Times. Totally worthless site now.

How can such a great business idea and implementation be gone? To buy Streeteasy just to put it out of business rather than incorporate the best of it into Zillow is such a bad business mistake. Zillow, you are losing me not gaining me. I hope others follow. More important, Zillow, get smart and put the Streeteasy database back! In the short run, you may be okay. In the end, quality wins.

I always avoided Zillow when I was researching properties; it gave me nothing. Now that SE has been Zillowed, I just come by for the chat.

you can click on the homepage to access the prior version of Streeteasy. Totally agree I dispise the new site, look and feel.

This is about out-of-towners coming into a very different type of market and having zero clue about the type of information buyers and sellers are looking for. I work on Wall Street - we are all users and people have been chattering about shorting the stock because management seems tone deaf here -- not a good sign.
