I would strongly recommend that you stay away from this apartment. Better said, I would be extremely cautious about getting involved with this landlord. I am friends with a former tenant, and they had a very difficult time. Landlord didn't want to pay for any basic repairs, and even blamed them for a non-functioning smoke detector, among other things. Everything was a fight. Sure enough, she tried to withhold a large portion of their security deposit for no reason. Buyer/Renter beware!
