Links without any original commentary are boring, riversider.
The commentary, Aboutready, is in the headline and the carefully curated choices of links among many that discuss this topic.
Sorry we can't all write for a web site and then quickly quit because of the heavy demands.
You don't seem to have any time limitations, RS.
Some commentary. You're quite the commentator, RS, with little if any original thought,
We all have time limitations aboutready.
You have less than most, apparently. As do I, but I admit it.
You're like a SAHM posting on ybm. Pitiful.
First, ows, then ted Cruz, now this. Clearly a well curated strategy to destroy America and annex Florida.
Why would they get a canadian company to work on health insurance?
Why didn't they have amazon do it? The platform is perfect, seriously. And they could have jumps to the states sites for info, but the purchasing could have worked via amazon.
Probably against state insurance laws, but seems like they could have set up a separate company,
Aboutready, that's a good idea. And you are not alone thinking that some America's best online talent from companies such as Amazon could have done a better job. Aboutready, I like where are going, I'm optimistic, I think this could work out after all.
aboutready, I was thinking about your support for Amazon - is it because of their return policy?

Canadians off the hook. Sebelius responsible for the debacle: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2013/10/30/241791725/coming-up-sebelius-to-face-health-care-questions
I really dont understand how they could F up that website as bad as they did.
Couldn't Obama deputize a couple IT guys from NSA for a couple days?
Or just get someone off craigslist??
Holy Moses, cant imagine wanting to be a doctor today.
>Holy Moses, cant imagine wanting to be a doctor today.
we'll have doctors retiring earlier, and fewer people going to medical school. More of the brilliant potential doctors will go into finance - great.
Riversider: You mean like in absolutely no countries that have universal health programs? Those being every industrialized nation on the planet, except (to date) the US? Are Canadian medical schools hiring sound trucks to drive up and down the streets of Saskatoon, just begging people to enroll, offering free toasters who anybody who does?
truthskr10: No, Obama couldn't deputize anybody, because it wasn't determined until much later in the game just what the details of the program were -- so nothing to code yet. That late determination was caused by many obstructionists in one of the key political parties in the U.S. And they haven't at all let up, hoping to cause failure instead of success of any sort.
Dude it was a joke, but seriously, I get it, it's not Obama's fault. Nothing ever is.
WHat Reagan, Clinton, even George F Bush did was negotiate with other side.
It's really that simple. No matter your ideology, there is always an opposite perpective.
When you dont partially accomodate it, you get burned.
c'mon, alan. you mean the website failed because the republicans were too busy distracting obamie? thats pretty weak. the republicans arent smart enough to get out of their own way let alone get credit for this whole thing being a complete debacle. can we call a duck a duck for once?
further, if the republicans had ANY semblance of leadership, obamie would've been a one-termer. oh, the tragedy of it all......
negotiation was what got the law passed.
that the law is legal is what got it past the supreme court.
that the repugnantcans will stop at nothing to subvert implementation, and to effect failure of this mandated program should be an embarrassment to them. they will be embarrassed in upcoming elections.
aca was a key plank in obama's reelection campaign--repeal of such was a key plank for romney--so goes mandate.
and the budget was negatiated through this spring/summer, agreed upon in august, with serious concessions to repugnant POV--then repugnantcans reneged, and caused the shut down.
the good news in all this is that more and more voters are seeing the con rove and his have perpetrated to render politics a filthy lie-riddled business.
>aca was a key plank in obama's reelection campaign-
Maybe someone here can go online to the web site and see how it has worked out since the election.
If that doesn't work, maybe we could ask all the people who have signed up how they are liking it.
If we can't find any, maybe we can check with the people who were allowed to keep their prior plans and doctors.
Funny I thought we had to pass the bill to find out what was in it.
Not my words, Pelosi's words.
Unfortunately Obama created Ted Cruz. Fringe begets fringe.
The only thing we knew or thought we knew was ""if you like your healthcare plan, you'll be able to keep your healthcare plan. Period."
Anyone with a dual perspective can see this as a "Mission Accomplished" moment.
The biggest crime is Congress is exempt from the ACA requirements.
amen, truthie. obamie tried to conveniently alter his wording on this "promise" in his speech in MA yesterday - just an epic fail. if you want to keep your "substandard" plan, you are free to do so - pretty pathetic attempt at revisionist history and a couched lie once again.
Rangersfan, pick a side and defend it. Stop whining. Do you root for the referee during hockey games so you can be fair?
Go team cat fkers!
Fk come on. Let's get SE fun again. Let's talk about cat fking!
You first rangersfan. When's the last time? How many involved?
sorry, ted cruz's father created ted cruz--which explains a lot about ted....and our christian nation!
Ubottom created Wbottom created yikes. yikes ex-wife wishes she had some hint before getting maried about what she was getting into.
hey, w67th wtf are you talking about?
was it the obamie comment that put you over the edge?

The O'Reilly Factor
What a joke! Toronto Mayor Rob Ford laughed about President Obama’s policies.
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford wonders if Barack Obama is "crazy" for the leftist policies the U.S. President is pushing.
The crack-smoking Canadian has been battling a drug scandal, claims of sexual harassment and a string of embarrassing freak-outs before the press, but the Toronto politician laughed out loud about the mess Obama finds himself in.

"Come on, some of the stuff you guys are doing down there, to me, are you crazy?" Ford told FOX News reporter Jesse Watters for his segment on "The O'Reilly Factor" when asked about the Obama administration's policy platform.
"No, no, no, no, no," he answered about if he supports Obama, telling the journalist, "I'm not a leftie, I'm a righty."

The O'Reilly Factor
The 44-year-old Toronto mayor insists ‘he’s not a leftie’ and is confident the voters will reelect him in October 2014 to a second term.
"Are you crazy?" Ford continued, when asked if he supported Obamacare — the President's health care reform — even though Canada's health care is publicly funded.
Though Ford's antics have earned him an international reputation, primarily as a punch line for late-night talk shows, he says he is "loving" the attention and isn't fearful for the future as he points to the success of his political record.

And the people of Toronto seem to agree, with 42% saying they approve of his job performance in a new poll conducted after the mayor admitted to smoking crack cocaine on Nov. 5.
President Obama, on the other hand, is facing dismal numbers with only 40% of American adults saying they approve of his performance.

The O'Reilly Factor
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford tells FOX News reporter Jesse Watters that he is ‘loving’ the attention his scandal his bringing him.
Democratic strategist James Carville even joked that Obama should try smoking crack cocaine to boost his approval numbers, but instead Obama headed to the West Coast this week to schmooze with Hollywood types and fundraise for the Democrats in California.
Meanwhile, the scandal-ridden pol in the north has been stripped of many of his powers by the Toronto City Council, but the 44-year-old mayor remains defiant in the face of the opposition.

Admitting he's a little "rough around the edges," he says he doesn't need alcohol or substance abuse treatment, but is instead focused on losing weight and is confident his supporters in the Ford Nation will reelect him in October 2014 when his term ends.
"My record speaks for myself. I apologize for the mistakes, I'm only human."
