Caution....I have a listing that is in contract, that was marked in contract during the term of the ad, but the SE database has now changed that to "expired listing" when the ad expired. The really bad news for me is that now agents will start calling me again, thinking it's unsold, when it's in contract. It's phone back on vibrate for me.
Same thing happened to me on my sale. I sent an email about the matter and they reset the listing with a new contract date so it looked as if I had been in contract twice. I had some correspondence asking me what was wrong with the 1st deal. The implication was that someone backed out of the deal because there was a problem with the apartment.
Then I had the same problem with the apartment I purchased. Same deal even after we closed on it.
All this happened AFTER Zillow purchased Street Easy. Correlation?
The data stream from the online listing exchange ROLEX changed 6-8 weeks ago. Noah's been writing about it on UD. That is probably why some listings have bad info.
