Discussion about
I'm considering purchasing a condo via an LLC. I don't want my name to be down anywhere in the application. I have my attorney as the registered agent of the LLC to sign all the waivers for the condo. On the occupancy credit check they want a list of who will be living in the property. Is there a way I can put someone else down and then add myself as an occupant after the fact? I have nothing to hide just want complete anonymity. Thanks
Sketchy.
yeah, that's why I'm just going to bite the bullet and put my info down. I get it's in the best interest of the condo owners, just not into giving out my info unless it's Uncle Sam.
Sounds like you should be buying a HOUSE, not a condo.
NYCMatt, you're a jerkoff - go back to sleep.
If you have nothing to hide, then you need hide nothing. If you're trying to shield your location from the general public (or specific individuals), your lawyer will best know how to set things up. LLC owners can be found by the enterprising with reasonable expertise.
Time spent trying to shield your name in the application and purchase records would be better spent acting on the far more serious privacy concerns facing people in this country. You're trying to clean the hot tub of an out of control ocean liner.
it's a condo
you are buying it for the purpose of renting it out
you don't know the name of the tenet yet
You have a primary residence so you can't put your name down
run that by your lawyer

there you go again

List your turtle as the occupant. That way you can stay in your
condo as its guest without arousing suspicion by the condo board
