Discussion about MASTER BUILDING at 310 Riverside Drive in Upper West Side
I've sent several posts which have been ignored. It's important for people who are considering this building to know that there is a problem in controlling roach and mice. Other tenants / owners did not seem to mind as "it's New York" but it was well beyond any issues that we've observed in other buildings we've lived in. Management was indifferent to the problem. Sure, there is an exterminator but the hall trash bins are FILTHY and would remain full of open food containers for many hours. Is there some reason that you would not post this comment?

thanks. I find your post very informative.
Not true! The garbage is picked up three times a day.Please don't post false statements online.
Does anyone have an update here on the pest problems in this building? We'd appreciate some local knowledge please.
What kind of pests . . . . rats ?
@Rahel
..... "garbage is picked up three times a day" ... really ???
Beware: This building is no smoking, but only for tenants post 2018. Many older tenants are heavy smokers. Broker was not honest with me about that and I’m miserable.
@GW1227 am looking at the bldg and appreciate the post. It sounds awful and wishing you luck.
Hello, looking at an apartment in the building and would appreciate any updates on the rats/roaches/pests issues. Last comments were from a few years ago and I was wondering whether management was able to improve the situation. Thanks for help in advance!
Does anyone have any more recent (2022) reports?
Ditto if anyone has more recent (2023) information on (1) pests - rats, cockroaches - in the building (2) whether there are still a lot of smokers (3) noise - are the floors and walls well insulated for sound?
On the 2 units we owned in the building never had noise issues, but this was quite a while ago. More noise vertical than horizontal.
Thanks, 30yrs - appreciate the feedback
