Discussion about 400 East 85th Street in Yorkville
Tried to buy in this building and found out that any Alterations which require the DoB consent are going to be on hold. The moratorium on building here has been in effect for over a year is what I've been told.

Is this still in effect? Does anyone that live in the building have any comments about how they like the building?

I live in the building and I'm not aware of any moratoria on alterations. It's a great building, very well maintained with an excellent staff. It's only a few minutes walk away from the Q but on lovely tree-lined 85th Street. Units have very low maintenance also with incredibly low electricity costs (I pay about $25 a month).
